Hull Collaborative Academy Trust

Academy Information Gilberdyke Primary school is part of Hull Collaborative Academy Trust (HCAT).

HCAT is a teaching academy and an accredited DfE sponsor. The focus of HCAT is our children, hence the ethos ‘Children First’. We strive to ensure that every child within the trust receives outstanding teaching and learning opportunities through collaboration and school improvement. We work with a number of partners to provide the highest quality education for all children within our schools and to enable all staff to fulfil this obligation.

Our children come from a wide variety of backgrounds and we strive to nurture all their talents and help them achieve a happy, rewarding and successful time in our schools.

The success of HCAT as a multi-academy trust means that it is continuing to expand, now attracting schools from the East Riding with Gilberdyke Primary and Withernsea Primary being two recent additions. The trust has a strong, effective central team, including National Leaders of Education and leading School Improvement Partners who are Ofsted trained. The collaboration across the trust and close links to Hull Collaborative Teaching School, Hull SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training) and Hull Centre for Restorative Practice help us grow from strength to strength.
